Evening Prayer at Chapel of the Ascension is held the first Sunday of the month at 5:00 p.m. May through October. The Chapel is located on Old Murphy Road near Standing Indian Campground. See map.

Outreach Participation St. John's works with many community services for the benefit of the people of Franklin. St. John's supports the CareNet, Macon Program for Progress, Cartoogechaye Elementary School, the Nantahala Hiking Club. Sponsor of a "Little Food Pantry" on Old Murphy Road. Thank you to all who have contributed food to this Pantry. You help our community in need.
