St. John's is a welcoming spiritual community of Christian fellowship where all are truly invited to join us in our journey of faith.
St. John's is conducting services in-person and on Zoom. Service time is 9:30 a.m. Strict physical distancing will be enforced. Masks must be worn. We will not be singing at our services. Communion will be bread only. Seating is limited to 20 persons. If you plan to attend, please read the Guidelines on the Visitors Page. We want everyone to have a safe and comfortable experience. Please be safe, practice social distancing, and pray for all those affect by this illness. Sundays at 9:30 followed by an hour of fellowship over a cup of coffee and light refreshments.
First Sunday of the month is "potluck" breakfast with many members treating us to their amazing culinary creations.
Wednesday Prayer service at 5:00 p.m.Services are suspended due to COVID-19. Holy Eucharist on the first Wednesday of the month.
Evening Prayer at Chapel of the Ascension is held the first Sunday of the month at 5:00 p.m. May through October. Services are suspended due to COVID-19. The Chapel is located on Old Murphy Road near Standing Indian Campground. See map.

Outreach Participation St. John's works with many community services for the benefit of the people of Franklin. St. John's supports the Serving Spoon, Community Clinic, Cartoogechaye Elementary School, the Nantahala Hiking Club, and others through Cartoogechaye Christian Fellowship.
