St. John's is a welcoming spiritual community of Christian fellowship where all are truly invited to join us in our journey of faith.
Worship services In an abundance of caution and for the health and safety of all, the Bishop has suspended worship services in the Diocese until further notice. The Diocese is following the recommendations given by the Governor of North Carolina. Please be safe, practice social distancing, and pray for all those affect by this illness. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but one of power, love, and sound judgment." 2 Timothy 1:7
Sundays at 9:30 followed by an hour of fellowship over a cup of coffee and light refreshments.
First Sunday of the month is "potluck" breakfast with many members treating us to their amazing culinary creations.
Wednesday Prayer service at 5:00 p.m. Holy Eucharist on the first Wednesday of the month.
Evening Prayer at Chapel of the Ascension is held the first Sunday of the month at 5:00 p.m. May through October. Services have concluded for this year. They will resume in May 2020. The Chapel is located on Old Murphy Road near Standing Indian Campground. See map.

Outreach Participation St. John's works with many community services for the benefit of the people of Franklin. St. John's supports the Serving Spoon, Community Clinic, Cartoogechaye Elementary School, the Nantahala Hiking Club, and others through Cartoogechaye Christian Fellowship.
